Nina Leo is an interdisciplinary artist working primarily in sculpture-based installation, drawing, performance, sound and scent. Through her work she explores themes surrounding the manufacture of isolation and the redesign of intimacy in contemporary media and technology-rich cultures as experiences become stripped of direct multi-sensorial richness. This work examines how such estrangement might redefine our experience, inflluence our sense of self and shape our sociopolitical perceptions.
Several of her most recent works can be viewed in the current works gallery of this site. Selected work from previous collections may be found in the archives.
